What we’re about
We are a figurative sculpture school based in Bath. We organise free coming sculpture event, a stone carving club and our popular Friday Sketch and Tipple evenings.
Sketch and Tipple is held in the Life Room at Bath Artists Studios, these are regular evenings of life drawing with time to socialise over a glass of wine. Please come along for a fun, friendly and creative evening. There will be a mix of experienced artists and complete beginners. Everyone is welcome.
We will have music, a clothed model to inspire you with some short poses to start off and a long pose for the second part of the evening. Experienced artists can bring their own materials and work at their own pace and for beginners there will be tips and drawing exercises you can join in and these will improve your confidence.
Drawing boards, paper and charcoal will all be available on the night, so you only need to bring yourself along. There will be short poses for the first session, then a break in the middle for wine and socialising and then for second half the model will hold one pose.
