About us
Sketching Souls is a space for anyone who wants to develop a regular drawing habit while feeling connected to others. We are not a critique group or a formal class, but rather a community where we can sit together, share our progress, and work through the common frustrations that come with being a creative person. Whether you are picking up a pencil for the first time in years or have a well-worn sketchbook that goes everywhere with you, this is a place to be seen and supported.
Our gatherings are centered around the simple act of showing up. We spend our time sketching in a relaxed environment, talking about our process, and offering encouragement to one another. Life gets busy and it is easy for our creative practice to fall to the bottom of the to-do list, so our goal is to provide the accountability and steady company needed to keep the ink flowing. If you are looking for a low-pressure way to make art a consistent part of your life alongside a group of kind, like-minded people, we would love to have you join us.
