This will probably be one of the most unique art events you attend ... we've been invited to participate in a new version of the "Draftsmen's Congress" - a huge room in which artists have an ongoing conversation in layers of art and paint. Bring some bold charcoal or paint - and ideas! Since most of our meetups are about drawing from life, this will present a new creative challenge for the group.

We'll meet in the lobby, at Bowery & Prince St. Admission to the museum is waived for us for this event. Please be punctual; the museum says we must enter as a group, and they will not admit latecomers. If you have any trouble finding me, give me a call or text at 646-831-9816.

What makes our Meetups different from other art groups and classes? It's because we like to share our work, and talk, and enjoy the sights. Share tips and learn from people in a casual environment where all levels of artists are welcome!

We hand out nametags so everyone can meet one another!

We take photos to share on the site later. Bring your camera!

The event usually lasts three hours, but is not rigid.

Everyone at all skill levels is welcome!

Looking forward to sketching with you!
