SOS is a youth program that helps kids grow through skiing, snowboarding, mentorship, and building real life skills. The amazing part is how fast things are growing here in Detroit. We went from having about 10 to 15 students a few years ago to more than 200 this season. We’re now working with six schools, and more kids are excited to join every year.
This winter, we’re running a Snow Gear Clothing Drive to make sure every Detroit student in our program has warm, safe gear.
What we’re collecting:
• Jackets (Youth Large to Adult XXL)
• Snowpants (Youth Large to Adult XXL)
• Gloves (all sizes)
What we don’t need:
• Hats, scarves, or smaller youth sizes (Youth M and below)
