Salt Lake Oasis Weekly Gathering - Talks, Music, and Great Conversation

Come be part of a community of individuals and families who value people more than beliefs. Some have said it's like going to a Ted talk with live music every Sunday. We meet at 11 AM Mountain Time in the Parker Theatre Studio at 3601 State Street, South Salt Lake. We would love to have you join us for some great topics and socializing!

Pet Adoption & Fostering

Pat Theobald is the Community Engagement Manager for Best Friends Animal Society in Utah, where he champions the organization’s mission to end the killing of dogs and cats in shelters nationwide by 2025. In this role, he builds partnerships with local communities, shelters, and volunteers to expand adoption and fostering programs, while also leading public education initiatives on responsible pet care. Pat is a frequent speaker at civic and nonprofit events, including Salt Lake Oasis, and has appeared on PBS Utah’s Contact program to share practical advice on keeping pets safe during extreme weather. Known for his approachable style and ability to connect everyday pet care with Best Friends’ broader “Save Them All” vision, he helps inspire individuals and communities to take action toward creating a no‑kill nation.
