Slavic & Social ATX is a warm, laid-back community for anyone with Slavic roots (Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Czech, Slovak, Bulgarian, Serbian, Croatian, etc.) — or simply a love for Slavic culture — who lives in or around Austin, Texas.
We get together to:
Share good food, drinks, and stories
Celebrate holidays and traditions (from pierogi parties to Slava feasts)
Practice or learn Slavic languages in a fun, low-pressure way
Explore Austin together — hikes at Barton Springs, lake days, live music, and pop-up cultural nights
Build real friendships and feel a little less far from “home”
Whether you were born in the motherland, grew up in a Slavic household in the U.S., or just discovered your grandparents’ recipes and want to connect with others who get it — you’re welcome here. No gatekeeping, no politics at the table, just good vibes, laughter, and human connection.
