This group is a space for creatives who love fashion, beauty, and the process of creating together. The meetups are planned and organized, but intentionally flow-based once we’re shooting.
There are no rotations, no formal direction, and no pressure. Photographers connect with models naturally, find spots that inspire them, and create in their own style.
A few things to know as you get started:
• These are group shoots so be mindful of others sharing the space and communicate with kindness and respect
• The vibe is relaxed, respectful, and collaborative
• We shoot, we share — please upload your images to the Yogile link after each meetup within 2 weeks
• Images should be high-resolution and unwatermarked so the creative team can use them for portfolios
• Quality always matters more than quantity
Most importantly, come with good energy, kindness, and creativity. That’s what keeps this group special.

330 pm to 6 pmStep into a romantic world of old books, autumn leaves, historic architecture, and beautifully layered fashion for ACADEMIA—an outdoor editorial photoshoot inspired by the romanticized beauty of an intellectual life.
Set among the historic brick architecture, stone pathways, mature trees, and hidden gardens of Garden Park Ward, this shoot will blend dark academia, romantic academia, vintage collegiate style, and classic British heritage fashion. Think tweed blazers, plaid skirts, waistcoats, cable-knit sweaters, tailored trousers, long wool coats, loafers, leather satchels, and rich shades of burgundy, forest green, camel, chocolate brown, charcoal, and cream.
Models will be styled as poets, scholars, artists, and mysterious members of an old literary society. Vintage books, journals, letters, and other scholarly details will help create scenes that feel thoughtful, cinematic, and beautifully nostalgic.
Join us on October 24th for an autumn afternoon filled with storytelling, fashion, and the romance of a life spent among books and beautiful old places. 📚🍂🏛️

photographers who RSVP will just need to show up by 3:30 pm ready to shoot! I have planned everything for you! The models, makeup artists, and wardrobe! You may bring your lights if you would like. Keep modifiers smaller for a group setting.
While this shoot is for portfolio building and not a workshop learning experience, I will be there if you have any questions, or you can learn from your fellow photographers by watching them!
## 📸 WHAT IS REQUIRED OF PHOTOGRAPHERS?
### PHOTO DELIVERY
Photographers are expected to share a selection of their best edited images from the shoot within two weeks so that the models and creative team receive photos from their collaboration.
You may upload your finished images wherever you normally deliver your work — Pixieset, Google Drive, Dropbox, your website, etc. Once your gallery is ready, simply add the link next to your name on our shared Shoot Info & Credits Sheet:

Please credit everyone involved in creating the images you post on social media.
The shared Shoot Info & Credits Sheet will be updated with the correct credits, including which makeup artist and hair stylist worked with each model, so you won't have to hunt through Meetup comments trying to figure out who to tag.

Please remember that this is a collaborative portfolio-building shoot. Models and other collaborators may use the photographs you provide for their own promotional and portfolio purposes, including their modeling portfolios, websites and social media.
Photographers retain their own rights to their photographs; providing images as part of the collaboration gives the photographed collaborators permission to use the delivered images for these portfolio, promotional and social-media purposes.ADDITIONAL INFO*
-Please provide your own model releases if you must have them. Models have the right to refuse to sign anything.
- This Meetup does not do groups/rotations! I do not like to tell the photographers who they have to shoot with. You are free to shoot with anyone. You do not have to shoot the models you do not want to shoot.
-Please be friendly and courteous! While there will most likely be enough models to do one on ones just also expect to shoot the models with multiple photographers at once
- Do not touch the models before asking. No grabbing them or placing them where you want them. Ask them if it is ok to place them where you want them before doing so.

REFUND POLICY: Meetups are like Concerts. If you need to cancel you can sell your spot or give it away but there are no refunds. You can try to find people on the waitlist in the comments.
