Chatting at Forty Three Bakery

Apologies (again) for the late post.

It's been just over a year since we met at Forty Three Bakery. It is one of my favorite bakeries in SLC, but they changed their hours shortly after that last event, and were closed in the evenings. I had to take it out of the rotation. I just learned that they're now re-opening from 5:00 to 9:00 (Wednesday through Saturday) with a dinner menu (which you can see here). It looks like pizzas, salads, and some appetizers and main dishes. I haven't been there for dinner, but based on everything else I have had, I'm predicting it's all done very well.

Their usual baked items are also available during the dinner hours. They have really good croissants, flaky pastries, and several types of cakes and cookies.

I checked with the staff and reserved the bigger group table in the back area in the north end. They also have tables and chairs outside on the patio on the south end. It's looking like the weather will be hot and sunny, so the indoor option is probably better until things cool off later.

Access is best from the north on Genessee Ave (840 South). The street in front of the business is one-way going south. There are plenty of parking spots along that street, and on Genesee Ave and 900 South.

Anyone with any level of fluency is welcome to attend. There is no agenda or start time, so arrive whenever you can. Guests are also welcome. It's open to anyone, but speaking in German as much as possible is encouraged. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or post a comment below.
