In the East Bay Regional Park District's. This hike will allow you to explore the Sibley Volcanic and Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserves; allow you to explore native plants that are only found here and nowhere else in the east bay and view Sibley Volcanic Trail. A moderate hike meandering forest, eucalyptus, Monterey pine, oak, and redwoods with views of Redwood Park and Mount Diablo in the southeast.

Hike Route:
=> From the parking lot, take the Overlook Trail for a short distance then turn right at the first junction onto Skyline Trail and stay right through 3 junctions for 0.2 miles, then turn left at the fourth junction and go uphill to the overlook.
=> After a brief stop at the overlook, retrace your steps and turn left at the first junction onto Round Top Loop Trail for 0.2 miles.
=> Turn right at the second junction onto Skyline Trail for 0.8 miles.
=> Turn right at the junction to stay on Skyline Trail for 0.1 miles.
=> Go straight through the next junction onto Lower Huckleberry Loop Trail for 0.4 miles.
=> Turn left onto Upper Huckleberry Loop Trail for 0.9 miles, staying right through 3 junctions.
=> At the fourth junction, turn left onto Lower Huckleberry Loop Trail for 0.9 miles, staying through the first junction.
=> Turn right at the second junction onto Skyline Trail for 0.1 miles.
=> Turn left at the next junction to stay on Skyline Trail for 0.8 miles.
=> Turn right onto Round Top Loop Trail for 0.5 miles.
=> Turn right to go down to the Mazzariello Labyrinth for 0.2 miles, and spend a few minutes to view or walk through the labyrinth.
=> Return up this trail to junction and continue straight onto the Round Top Loop Trail for 0.2 miles, stay left through the first 5 junctions.
=> Continue straight at the 6th junction onto Volcanic Trail for 0.1 miles, staying left through the first 6 junctions.
=> Continue straight at the 7th junction onto Quarry Trail for 0.3 miles, staying left through one junction.
=> Turn left at the second junction onto an unnamed trail for 0.3 miles.
=> Turn left onto Skyline Trail for 0.5 miles to return to the parking lot.
