Sunday Sketchin' - SLO Ranch Market

Details
Let's get our sketch on! It's been while since we first/last sketched in the courtyard at SLO Ranch Market & Farms, so let's do it again. Great shops, snacks, drinks, and seating options - all outdoors with views new and historic farmhouse-style architecture.
Feel free to check out the latest vendors here.
Parking Info: Free public parking available on site. We'll meet in the grass area right when you walk into the courtyard from the main parking lot.

Fine print: Typically, we get two sketches in per event. Plan for about 30-40 mins per session – this gives us the ability to draw the same space from different angles or pick up and walk to another nearby spot to keep things fresh and interesting. Before, between, and after sessions, we'll do a quick group introduction/share of what we created - in order to support and inspire each other while reinforcing the communal aspects of the group.
Things to consider before joining session:
- Skill level: All ages and abilities welcome. No sketching experience needed. This is a non-judgemental supportive environment that encourages you to express yourself however you want. If you have any mobility considerations please let me know so we can factor that into the route/destination.
- Supplies: Be sure to bring a sketchbook and something to draw with. I'll have some extra pens and watercolor kits if anyone wants to experiment or forgets something. A small shoulder bag is helpful so you're not carrying everything in your hands. (*Note that I recommend drawing in pen (mistakes are your friend!) and on a smaller sketchbook rather than a large pad given the short duration (small = fast)).
- Sitting: We typically sit wherever we can. On the ground, a bench (if available), on a wall. If you need it, bring something like a towel or blanket to sit on if concerned about dirt or comfort. (*Note we'll prioritize shady spots when we can depending on heat/sun).
- Weather: Bring a jacket as it cools off in the evening and or hat/sunscreen as we may be in direct sunlight for up to 45 mins at a time. If the weather gets real bad we can go indoors or reschedule.
- Questions & RSVP: Reach out so I can answer them. If you can't make it, be sure to update your reservation in advance so I have a good idea of final head count for planning purposes.
