About us
Welcome! This is a no-pressure social hiking group for women 40+ who want to get outside, enjoy SLO County’s beautiful trails, and connect with other women while doing it.
What you can expect:
- Social hikes and trail walks of 2 to 5 miles
- A variety of terrains, from oak woodland to coastal bluffs
- Routes with varying levels of difficulty, from easy to moderately-strenuous
- Moderate pace (2mph, on average)
- A supportive atmosphere where no one gets left behind
This is not a competitive or fast-paced group. You don’t need fancy gear or trail expertise, just a willingness to show up and enjoy being outside with other women!
Because I’m not a morning person, I'll mostly be scheduling afternoon or early evening hikes on weekends and during the week. As the group grows, I hope to bring in additional hike leaders to schedule hikes and walks at various times of day to keep things active and inclusive.
I’m always open to questions, ideas, and trail suggestions. Hope to meet you soon! 🌿🥾

Sunset Walk @ Estero Bluffs State Park (2.5 miles)
Estero Bluffs, Hwy 1, Cayucos, CA, USJoin us for a mostly flat, moderately-paced out-and-back walk at beautiful Estero Bluffs State Park, just north of Cayucos. We'll walk to San Geronimo Creek and back.
This area is a wildlife haven and a harbor seal pupping area. It's spring, so who knows what we might spot! If there's no fog, we should be able to see all the way to Montaña de Oro.
In case of rain, I will reschedule this walk.
