DUE TO ALL THE LOCAL RAIN AND FLOODING ALONG THE COAST, this is a health warning.
I will NOT be going in the water, but with the large number of attendants, i do not want to cancel!
I will be there - look for my orange Toyota hatchback!

SPLASH into the New Year with like a polar bear! You can swim OR just to dip your toes in the big blue (without turning...blue), but ALL should come to share in the joy of the New Year and the warmth of friendship.
Bring blankets and towels and chairs to hang out for a while AND and a potluck dish to share if you wish.
Maybe coffee and doughnuts or your favorite chili, soup, and/or warm food would be just what you need to warm up. Lets share the time and remember 2023 and all the fun we have had together. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ALL WELCOME! Make this get-together a new tradition!
The Polar Bear Plunge has been a La Jolla tradition for about 30 years. Such swims have become a tradition for people throughout the country, including in places with incredibly cold weather along the East Coast. The La Jolla event often proves a big draw, bringing people from across the county for the past several years.
