Longer Saunter at Mission Trails

This walk is a bit longer and not as easy as most of our walks. We'll meet at East Fortuna Staging Area at the trailhead by the building. From there we'll walk on the established trails in a loop. We'll finalize the route when we meet. Expect to walk around 5 miles on dirt trails and some rocky terrain for about an hour and a half to two hours. Some puddles and mud possible on the trails because they last for weeks after rain. It's nature! Wear good hiking shoes. There's very little protection from the sun on most of the trail so we'll seek some shade by incorporating the trail through the woods around Kumeyaay Lake into our walk. Bringing water and wearing a hat are good ideas. Hope to see you!
