Evening Urban Walk – Fish Creek Park Mallard Point and beyond...

What we'll do
This is an invitation to Slow and Steady members to join us on
5-7 km Thursday evening Fish Creek Walk. The walk will start at 6:00. We will wait up to 5 minutes at the meet up location in case you get stuck in traffic.

Please note that we all walk at different paces, however we strive to stay together and enjoy each others company. We will walk at a slow to medium pace, and will stop for the occasional "Kodak" moment.

Summary:
Event host will pick the route/meetup location each week dependent on weather and trail conditions so please watch the posting! Be prepared for muddy wet terrain.

Distance: approx. 5-8 km on asphalt or dirt trails

Pace: Relaxed beginner/Intermediate level

What to bring:

• good walking / trekking shoes are a must

• appropriate layers for the temperature,

• water and snacks if you wish

If the organizer deems it necessary to obtain additional information from you, please provide it, otherwise, you will be placed on the waiting list. As a potential participant, you must check this trip posting for additional directions from the organizer, including up to trip cancellation.

Waiver:As per the new policy for waivers, the waiver form will be signed at the trailhead. You will also be asked for the name and phone number of an emergency contact. Please come prepared with this information.
