Bike Ride : Renfrew Off-Leash Dog Park to Sandy Beach
Details
I'm planning a casual cycling trip that will start from Renfrew Off-Leash Dog Park and head to Sandy Beach, following the scenic Elbow River Pathway. I’ve done this ride before, but it’s been a while, so I’m not exactly sure of the distance—my guess is somewhere around 35 to 40 km.
Along the way, we’ll pass through Enmax Park, Lindsay Park, Goose Park, and more, enjoying the natural surroundings and river views. There is one section near Stampede Park where we’ll need to go through the city traffic right , but aside from that, it will be a smooth and easy ride. Once we arrive at Sandy Beach, we’ll stop and have lunch together
This ride is meant to be a pleasant workout and an enjoyable exercise, not a race or a competition. The plan is flexible—If the ride feels too short and everyone’s up for a bit more, we can continue on to Glenmore Reservoir—either after lunch or even before, depending on how the timing works out.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
