This trip is weather dependent, so please check the website the morning of the hike to make sure the trip has not been cancelled.
This trip is about enjoying the journey up and good company. We’ll stop and check out interesting things, take photos, or just have little breathers and water breaks where needed. We can spend a bit of time at the top checking out the shop and café if desired while we take a lunch break (about 30 mins), but we will all descend at the same time.

RSVP RULES: Late cancellations without a valid reason, will result in a 'no show' at the organizer's discretion. Please note that 'no shows' can hinder your attendance on hikes with other organizers.
EVENT PACE: SLOW. If you’re looking to work on your speed, this event will not suit you.
TRAILHEAD: Banff Hot Springs parking lot (Parking lot, Improvement District No. 9, AB T1L 1J2)
RESTRICTIONS: No dogs, no children, no guests.
GEAR & SUPPLIES:
Park Pass, bear spray, water, snacks/lunch, hiking poles, microspikes, bug repellant, sunscreen, appropriate footwear and clothing for conditions, first aid kit, change of footwear and a bag if carpooling.
CARPOOLING:
I am camping near Banff for the weekend, so we are meeting at the trailhead! Please arrange your own carpooling/transportation.
If carpooling, please be considerate of your driver’s vehicle and bring a change of shoes and bag for dirty footwear. Suggested gas fee contribution is $20-$25. Carpool Etiquette
