July 20th!! Hike NH Park - West NH PARKING LOT Shaganappi (Slow Relaxed Pace)

PLEASE READ DETAILS IN FULL PRIOR TO THE EVENT:

NOTES: We will not always stay on the main trails, and sometimes go off trail so please wear good hiking boots and bring poles if you usually use them. Waterproof jacket, sunglasses, water, layered clothing ready for all weather, snack, bug spray, first aid kit, washroom kit just in case, etc.

MEET AT THE NOSEHILL WEST PARKING LOT, SHAGANAPPI ACROSS FROM EDGEMONT - we will leave the parking lot at 9am and no later. I come at the last minute (8:45am) usually so please have your emergency info ready and be ready to sign the waiver at the GREY CAMRY where a clipboard will be provided. We will do a quick 🤝meet and greet and off we go. Note: please sign at the grey camry in the parking lot.

DESCRIPTION:
8-10 KM (1.5-2 hours) Timeline is only an estimate and please do not plan activities directly after. We will stop for a snack mid-way and sit for a good 15 min.

PACE: Slow and Peaceful. Enjoy the morning. I do not rush at the best of times and this is my first event back in a couple of years although NoseHill is very familiar to me and it's paths as well as off-trail areas. I am not always a huge small-talk person, but I do have a sense of humour when needed. You must stay with the group in order to attend future events.

WEATHER DEPENDANT: IF IT'S RAINING BUCKETS OR THE WIND IS STRONG THIS EVENT WILL BE MOVED TO ANOTHER DATE. FOG IS NOT MY FRIEND EITHER. JUST SO YOU KNOW.

Waiver: must be signed at the trail head. You must sign it before you will be allowed to go on this event. You will be asked for the name and phone number of an emergency contact.
