Here we go again!!
What we will do:

To the trail head, follow the Smith Dorrien Highway / Spray Lakes Rd 10 kms past the Canmore Nordic Centre and turn right at the Goat Creek parking lot next to the Ha Ling Trailhead. Along the way we will regroup, and if you are speedy or unwilling regroup this event is not for you. We will have several stops for resting and pictures, also we will stop at Banff visitor centre (bathroom break) then locked bike up and relaxed to have lunch at a restaurant in Banff Avenue then ride back taking Legacy trail to Canmore.
Total distance estimate 45km.

We will park cars at Canmore and Goat Creek trail parking lot to make this trip work alternatively we can also take the shuttle back from Canmore to Goat Creek parking lot.

-We are out in the mountain and it is unpredictable time back so if you are rush to be back. Do NOT signup.

Distance: Approximately 45km (return)

Elevation Gain: 300 meters gain

Time (Only an Est.): 6-7 hours

Physical Difficulty: Intermediate rider --
Event Pace: Intermediate rider -...will stop for pictures & take breaks when needed.
🌲 Required gear:
- Bike: Road, Mountain, hybrid or gravel bike.
- helmet (mandatory, no exceptions)
- water 2 Lt.
- lunch / snacks
- hat / gloves
- technical clothing (no cotton, no jeans)
- rain coat
🌲 Suggested gear:
- spare inner tube, patch kit and pump
- bear spray
- sunscreen
- personal first aid kit
- camera
Suggested Gear: Camera, gloves might be a good idea...hence the biking kit

A Waiting list has been created. You must meet all of the prerequisites, and answer all of the RSVP questions, in order to be moved to the Going list. Attendance is at the discretion of the organizer Sunny, and is not on a first-come-first-served basis.

🌲 WAIVER: You must sign our club waiver before you are allowed to go on this trip and you shall arrive prepared with an emergency name and phone number to be recorded on the waiver. Organizer will have a group waiver for you to sign at the trailhead. You are required to read the Slow and Steady Hiker Club Waiver:
