Rae Glacier and Beyond T4

Another one I haven't done for awhile. We'll hike at a SLOW PACE with lots of time for photos and to smell the flowers.
On our way we'll be at Elbow Lake where we pass one of the most accessible back country camps around. From there we work our way to Rae Glacier, one of the few glaciers in K Country. Rae Glacier attracts back country skiers from June to December. We can explore the moraines and area around the glacier at our leisure. On the way back we can also relax at Elbow Lake before heading back to the trailhead.
After the hike we will be going to the Slow and Steady Anniversary Picnic at the Opal Day Use area on Hwy 40.

Plan Accordingly!! Please don't carpool with someone who wishes to attend the after event if you're not going.

The Slow and Steady waiver and Code of Conduct will be in effect. I will have a hard copy of the waiver for attendees to sign at the meetup point.
Suggested Gas Fee is $20 per passenger.

We will make a pit stop at the Kananaskis Visitor Center on Hwy 40 on the way.
We will leave the meetup area no later than 7:35 AM so please be there on time or meet us at the visitor center or trailhead.
