Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park near Cochrane

With its rolling terrain, scenic Glenbow Ranch offers a good workout. We'll stay on the wider trails and bike paths, because mosquitoes have been quite bad, especially among the grasses and bushes. Expect a continuous, moderate pace on hills. The goal is for participants to maintain hiking fitness.

You will be moved to the attending list once you have COMPLETED BOTH PARTS OF THE RSVP QUESTION by: 1, stating your acceptance of the S&S Club risk waiver by saying 'Yes, I accept'; 2, providing by direct message to organizer, your emergency contact's name and phone number. Attendance is at the discretion of the organizer, not FCFS -- 3 or more 'no show' in the past 12 months would render member ineligible for participation.

Events are weather dependent. Hike would proceed unless there are strong winds and/or heavy precipitation. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes/boots with good traction for inclines. Poles will definitely be helpful on the hills. Also, be sure to check the posting the morning of the hike for updates and/or cancellation due to inclement weather.
