Arnica and Twin Lakes

This out and back hike is challenging due to the elevation. The trail is up and down through the bush with rocks and exposed roots. Good boots are recommended. After Vista Lake we have a 550m climb over 3k to Arnica Lake. Arnica Lake is a great spot for photos. Next we climb around Storm mountain to the lookout then down to Twin Lakes.

Trailhead: Take hwy 93 towards Radium and park in the Vista Lake parking lot

RSVP RULES: Late cancellations without a valid reason, will result in a 'no show' at the organizer's discretion. Note that 'no shows' can hinder your attendance on hikes with other organizers.

PACE: steady. We stay together or in 2 groups. We stop to layer and delayer, take photos and enjoy the day.

CARPOOLING: Carpooling will not be arranged for this hike; however, please use the comment section to request a ride. Please be considerate of your driver’s car and bring a change of shoes and plastic bag for dirty footwear. Suggested gas fee contribution is $20.00.
