This out and back hike is easy, but with lots of up and downs. Dry Island Buffalo Jump is a secret gem with breathtaking views of the Red Deer River Valley. One of the best views is from the lookout. This parking lot is also the trailhead. We will hike north on informal trails that wind up and down through the coulees and native grasslands. Note this area only passable when dry.

This trip will be weather dependent. Please check the website the morning of the trip to make sure it has not been cancelled.
