Winter Fun Weekend in Lake Louise

Let's celebrate winter and Slow and Steady and of course each other in beautiful Lake Louise.

We've done these in the past and had so much fun. Booking a room or dorm bed is your responsibility.
We have stayed at the Lake Louise Alpine Center ( Hostel) in the past but you can book anywhere you wish.

Arrive anytime Friday and settle into your room. Join us in the kitchen for dinner or at Bill Peyto's restaurant in the hostel. Afterward, we can socialize around the fire pit or in the upstairs lounge area. Also, we can plan our Saturday activities..

On Saturday we can go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or downhill skiing/snowboarding. Up to you. We'll organize the fun.

Saturday evening we will have a big potluck dinner in one of the two kitchen areas. Remember, we do have to share with other hostel guests so be nice.
Saturday evening we will again have time for socializing but let's be respectful and lights out by 11 pm.

Sunday, we'll have more activities for those who are able. In the past, we've done some easier stuff on Sunday. Go ice skating and look at the ice sculptures at the lake. Or an easier snowshoe? Up to you. One year we even went tubing at Norquay. It was lots of fun. Do they still do this?

There are plenty more options and of course, we can finish the weekend with a pub stop in Banff or Canmore on the way home. For those who wish to.

This is a great way for us to see each other again and have fun together.
