Yamnuska to Raven's End - Relaxed Pace Microspike
Details
I'm going to do a fall hike on Yamnuska to Raven's End. Relaxed pace. I like to have a peaceful hike in the mountains. We are not in a rush to return to the city. You must stay with the group.
Distance - 7.6km return
Elevation gain - 552m
I expect the group to stay together, no running ahead. Group maximum - 8 people. Please sign up on the waitlist to get on the list.
Please bring microspikes, gaiters, waterproof hiking boots, poles, layers, water, first aid kit, lunch. There is likely ice, maybe snow or mud. Prepare for all conditions.
Meet in the Yamnuska parking lot at 9:50 a.m. to sign the waiver, we hike at 10am sharp.
You can arrange your own carpooling from Calgary in the comments after you have been accepted on the hike. Recommended $15 gas fee. I can take three people from Cochrane or the Petro Can at Hwy1 and Hwy22.
No guests, no children. I am bringing my well behaved, friendly, German Shepherd, on a leash. Other dogs with prior permission only.c
Please note: If you sign up, but cannot attend, please take yourself off the list. If you cancel after 6pm the night before or don't show up (without a good reason), you will be marked as a "no show". It is inconsiderate to those on the waitlist who don't get to attend and everyone waiting for you at the trailhead.
