Powder Face Pass T3 - Not so slow Pace
Details
To the pass and a bit beyond from the east day use area. Not going to the ridge top. Not so slow pace. Minimal stops. Averaging about 4-4.5kmh. Mid elevation in and out track. Follows trails in the trees most of the time before getting out of the treeline for a bit of view. Not technical but it can be quite the huffer if you're out of shape. Not for slowpokes. Microspikes or similar mandatory. Expect ice on the trail. No jeans/denim clothing. Hopefully its well packed enough to not need snowshoes. Might head to Bragg Creek for refreshments after the hike.
Distance: 15 Km round trip.
Elevation Gain: 650 meters.
Event Pace: 5-6 hrs approx. (depends on how much snow there is)
Required Gear:
