Let's help Margie enjoy her birthday and a celebration is in order. Festive dress/clothes optional. Lying in the shadow of Mount Lougheed a short and steep climb/scramble makes the view worth the climb. Near the top it becomes rockier and we should expect a lot of snow in sections. The trailhead lies next to Spencer Creek that flows between Mount Lougheed and Mount Sparrowhawk, along the Smith-Dorrien Road, approximately 25km South of Canmore.
