Starting off along the Tom Snow trail, we will cross a bridge over Jumpingpound Creek. Climbing steadily through the trees, the views of the Rockies start to come into view. Be prepared for possible deeper snow drifts in sections, especially at the top. The trail switchbacks up to the ridge with wide open views. It can be very windy at the top of the ridge.
