🌲We’ll be riding from the Legacy Trail to Minnewanka lake this time.
The Legacy Trail, starting from the Canmore Information Centre, has been a favorite among cyclists since 2010. With a gentle elevation gain of about 185 meters and a well-maintained surface, it offers a smooth, scenic, and enjoyable ride for all levels.
Once we reach the Trans-Canada Highway intersection, we’ll pass underneath and continue toward Cascade Ponds, then make our way to Lake Minnewanka. This section includes a bit more climbing and requires us to share the road with vehicles, so we’ll stay alert and ride in single file.
We’ll take a well-earned break at Lake Minnewanka, enjoying a relaxing lunch surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
Let’s ride safely, stay aware, and enjoy every moment—the scenery along this route is truly spectacular.
