Details

Initially the trail follows a gravel road along the river and then winds up through the forest. Nihahi Ridge Trail offers a great variety of terrain including rock and roots. The higher the route the steeper it becomes. At the end of the forested area you arrive at an alpine meadow. After this saddle there is a short, steep, easy, scramble portion. There is no risk of dislodging rocks along this portion. The Nihahi Ridge views are endless to the west, and to the east the foothills surrounding Moose Mountain. We will not travel far along the ridge.

Note: If you are messaging and sharing your phone no, please check the box for hike participants.
