Prairie Mtn -slow pace, return via Prairie creek(if more than 2 hikers)
Details
Breezing up Prairie Mtn is a good cardio exercise, close to Calgary.
The new route is fairly a gradual uphill, so we do not need to huff n puff.
Kanaskis country pass required. If you do not have one, please buy one, Parks Alberta monitors the the number plate actively.
Carpooling: upto individuals ; I am not from Calgary, hence will meet u at the Elbow falls parking lot.
I can take two passengers from Cochrane Save on Foods .
We shall take a short break and snacks in the tree line before heading off to the summit, to avoid the high winds. On the way back we take the Prairie Creek trail , since this is a nicer descent, winding your way down through the trees. There are some lovely spots for relaxing and lunch break, as we head down.
Plan B: If less than three pax, we take the same route back.
Your presence implies u have read the waiver. Please bring a piece of paper with the name n tel no of emergency contact. Please carry on you, emergency medication, and administrating instructions on a piece of paper; let the team know where it is located in your pack or on you.
If there is a second co-ordinator, we shall increase the group size.
