Bike Ride : Varsity-Edgemont & Creek Ride
Details
Calgary is home to more than 1,000 kilometers of dedicated bike pathways. As cyclists, we have set out countless times to discover new routes, yet it always feels like there is another hidden trail waiting to be explored.
For this ride, one of our members asked: Why not start at Varsity and explore Edgemont, Dalhousie, and the north side of the city?
It was an easy "yes." We are incredibly fortunate to have Shroan with us, whose excellent knowledge of this area makes her the perfect guide. While we have already ridden some of these individual sections, the real fun this time will be discovering how they all connect.
Think of this as completing another essential piece of the puzzle. This journey will carve out our northern loop, traveling from west to east along the Mattamy Greenway to tie another beautiful section of our "Green Loop" together.
