Rock Isle lake and Sunshine Meadows or Citadel Pass

Vladdy says: Being unable for the time being to bash up steep terrain I am relegated to gentler grades.
I will give two (2) options, both are about 18 km total, but one is $80 more expensive:
Option 1: From the Sunshine Gondola parking lot walk up to the village and then do the Sunshine Meadows loop. It is free and definitely pretty. Elevation gains ~650 m
Option 2: Pay $80 for the gondola and hike to Citadel Pass and back. Elevation gains ~500 m in rolling terrain of superb alpine beauty.
Weather will be partly cloudy and seems smoke free.
Meet at Sirocco Station at 8:00
$20 fuel contribution to your driver is encouraged.
Bring the following:
hiking poles
sufficient clothes
sufficient food
bear spray
sturdy hiking shoes
2 L of water
raingear
First-aid kit, any medications you may need
