Details

The initial part of the trail up to Edworthy Falls is mostly an old road. At the second cairn the path becomes much narrower and is slightly overgrown for the next 3 k. After that it opens up into a beautiful high alpine meadow, with towering mountains on either side. The final scramble up scree is tough but very doable. The view from the top of the pass is incredible and definitely worth it. There is a creek crossing along this trail. Water sandals are recommended as the water may be knee-deep.
