Lipalian & Purple mtn
Details
This is an exploratory hike for experienced hikers due to the elevation and loose scree. We start up the fire road then climb the steep larch ski run. Note, the scramble at the top is easy. The larch should be nice, and the purple and blue rocks unusual. You also get a great view of Lake Louise, Temple and Moraine Lake from the summit
Distance: 16 k
Elevation gain : 1110 m.
Directions: Just before the Lake Louise ski hill there is a road on the right going to the Skoki trailhead and Fish Creek parking lot.
Meeting point: the trailhead
