Slow, Careful Bible Study

This is an online group where we aim to study the Bible in a slow, careful, and in-depth way. We go through the Bible one passage at a time, inviting attendees to pose however many questions they may have about each passage and then attempting to answer the questions posed as a group as best we can. We will often end up looking into the original Greek and Hebrew meanings of words, and looking up relevant historical context. We are currently reading through The Acts of The Apostles.

Attendees need not be Christian, but being respectful towards Christians and Christian beliefs is a must (being respectful towards EVERYONE and EVERYONE'S beliefs is a must). We ask that nobody join this group with the intention of proselytizing or spreading any particular message, opinion, or philosophy. The primary purpose of this group is to help people understand the Bible better. That said, we do pray at the end of the group. All are welcome to participate in this time of prayer.
