We willl be running a strength workout for women before our 5k run at 10 am on Saturday!!!
We will have both, beginner and more advanced versions of each exercise for each round to make it as inclusive as possible!
Strength training is so important for women, especially for injury prevention, bone health, and overall fitness, but it’s often overlooked in favour of cardio. This is a simple way to incorporate it into your routine along with cardio in a supportive setting! It will be taking place every second Saturday!
What to bring:
• A few bin bags or plastic bags (to lie or sit on during some exercises)
• Normal workout gear
• A water bottle (handy if you don’t mind holding it for the run after!)
• And of course, good vibes! 😄
