About this Session
For many of us, modern feminism can feel overwhelming, fragmented, and full of unspoken rules. Am I informed enough? Saying the right things? Centering the right voices? Doing harm without realizing it?

This session is a space to talk honestly about the uncertainty, self-judgment, and pressure that can come with trying to be a “good” feminist in a complex world. We’ll explore how social media, call-out culture, shifting language, and competing frameworks can turn values into anxiety and advocacy into performance.

Rather than debating definitions or prescribing the “right” way to show up, we’ll reflect on our personal relationships to feminism: how we learned it, where it feels grounding, and where it starts to feel paralyzing. We’ll talk about the difference between accountability and perfectionism, growth and guilt, curiosity and fear.

This session is for you if:

  • You believe in feminist values but often second-guess yourself.
  • You feel pressure to be constantly informed, correct, or outspoken.
  • You worry about getting it wrong, being called out, or not doing enough.
  • You feel torn between learning, resting, and staying engaged.
  • You want a more sustainable, human relationship to advocacy.

You don’t need to have all the right language. You don’t need to agree on everything. This is a space for reflection, nuance, and compassion — a place to untangle feminism from fear and reconnect with what brought you to it in the first place.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re doing feminism “right,” this space invites you to ask a different question: What does an honest, sustainable feminism look like for me?

Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Jesse, a communications and advocacy professional passionate about building a safer, more just world. Originally from Austin and now living in Italy, I believe life is measured by the quality of our connections, and I’m excited to use this space to help people build community through openness and shared stories.

How Does it Work?
This is an open, guided discussion led by your Keeper, Jesse. Each participant will have the opportunity to listen to and share experiences on anxiety, well-being, emotions, and whatever else comes up during the session.

When and How Do We Meet?
We meet digitally every couple of weeks to make participation easy for those with demanding schedules. Cameras are optional, and you’re welcome to join from wherever you are, even between shifts. We only ask that you find a private place to join or use headphones to help maintain the security of everyone present.
