A session for the exhaustion, self-doubt, and mental spiraling that can come with trying to make the "right" decision.
For many of us who deal with anxiety, decision-making isn’t simple — it’s a mental loop of weighing every option, imagining every possible outcome, and worrying about getting it wrong. It’s replaying choices long after they’re made. It’s feeling like even small decisions carry too much weight.
This session explores what it’s like when your brain won’t let you settle on a choice.
We’ll talk about analysis paralysis, the pressure to make perfect decisions, and the anxiety that can come from feeling responsible for every possible outcome. We’ll explore the mental exhaustion of overthinking, the fear of regret, and the constant “what if” questions that can make it hard to move forward.
This isn’t a space for productivity advice or quick fixes. It’s a space to name the emotional reality of living with a mind that wants certainty in a world that rarely offers it.
This space is for you if:
- You overthink even small decisions
- You feel stuck between options and afraid to choose
- You replay decisions long after they’re made
- You worry about making the “wrong” choice
- You feel mentally drained from constantly analyzing possibilities
You don’t need to have the answers or even know what decision you’re trying to make. If you’ve ever felt trapped in your own thoughts while trying to decide what to do next, this space is for you.
Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Jesse, a communications and advocacy professional passionate about building a safer, more just world. Originally from Austin and now living in Italy, I believe life is measured by the quality of our connections, and I’m excited to use this space to help people build community through openness and shared stories.
How Does it Work?
This is an open, guided discussion led by your Keeper, Jesse. There will be a maximum of eight attendees and last up to an hour. Each participant will listen to and share experiences on anxiety, well-being, emotions, and whatever else comes up during the session.
When and How Do We Meet?
We meet digitally to make participation easy for those with demanding schedules. Cameras are optional, and you’re welcome to join from wherever you are, even between shifts. We only ask that you find a private place to join or use headphones to help maintain the security of everyone present.
