A session on friendship breakups, the anxiety that lingers, and the questions that don't always get answers.

Not all heartbreak is romantic. Some of it looks like a slow fade, an unanswered message, or a conversation that never quite happened. One day, someone who knew you deeply becomes someone you don’t talk to anymore, and there’s no manual for how to make sense of that.

Friendship breakups can leave behind a different kind of anxiety. The kind that replays moments, searches for what went wrong, or quietly wonders if it was something about you. You might find yourself carrying that uncertainty into new friendships—holding back, overthinking, or bracing for it to happen again.

In this session, we’ll gently explore what it means to lose a friendship without clear closure, and how that loss can shape the way we show up now.

We’ll sit with questions like:

  • What still feels unresolved or unfinished for me?
  • Where do I find myself replaying or rewriting the story?
  • How has this experience shaped the way I trust or connect with others?
  • What would it feel like to hold this loss with more compassion—for them and for myself?

This isn’t about assigning blame or forcing closure. It’s about making space for the grief, the confusion, and the anxiety that often go unspoken.

This session is for you if you’re carrying questions, hurt, or anxiety from a friendship that ended.

Bring a friend, a loved one, or come as you are, and let’s hold space together.

Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Jesse, a communications and advocacy professional passionate about building a safer, more just world. Originally from Austin and now living in Italy, I believe life is measured by the quality of our connections, and I’m excited to use this space to help people build community through openness and shared stories.

How Does it Work?
This is an open, guided discussion led by your Keeper, Jesse. There will be a maximum of eight attendees and last up to an hour. Each participant will listen to and share experiences on anxiety, well-being, emotions, and whatever else comes up during the session.

When and How Do We Meet?
We meet digitally to make participation easy for those with demanding schedules. Cameras are optional, and you’re welcome to join from wherever you are, even between shifts. We only ask that you find a private place to join or use headphones to help maintain the security of everyone present.
