Housing is expensive. Living in Portland, we also have opportunities that many cities don’t.
Small House Club PDX is a casual meetup for people interested in smaller, smarter, more creative housing — ADUs, backyard cottages, tiny homes, cottage clusters, house hacking, shared lots, and community-oriented living.
In Portland, many residential lots can add more housing, including ADUs. Some lots may even be able to have two ADUs, depending on the property, zoning, and site conditions.
This group is for homeowners, renters, builders, designers, real estate folks, small-space dreamers, and anyone curious about how Portland can make better use of the homes and lots we already have.
Expect casual meetups, tours, conversations, guest speakers, neighborhood walks, and practical discussion about what’s possible.
No sales pitch. Just curious people talking about housing that can be more affordable, flexible, sustainable, and connected.
