About us
Welcome to Small Trees and Big Ideas. We are a community of local bonsai enthusiasts who believe that working with living trees is one of the most rewarding ways to slow down and reconnect with nature. Whether you have been tending to your collection for years or are just curious about how to start your first tree, this group is a space to share progress, ask questions, and learn from one another in a relaxed environment.
Our meetups focus on the practical side of the craft, from pruning and wiring techniques to soil selection and seasonal care. We meet regularly to work on our trees together, swap tips, and troubleshoot any issues we might be having with our specimens. There is no right or wrong way to get involved; we simply value the patience and perspective that comes with the art of bonsai and look forward to having you join us for our next gathering.
