San Mateo ASL & Deaf Chat

Unfortunately, this group is no longer active and there are no chat events planned in the foreseeable future. This is one of those things that fell apart during the pandemic and has not recovered.

This group welcomes everyone who wants to sign. Attendees might include those who are learning American Sign Language, Hearing people, Deaf people, and the friends and relatives of Deaf persons. There are opportunities to meet new people, practice ASL, play games, converse one-on-one, or share a story or joke. This all happens without the need to utter a word by voice even for beginners.
