See Booker T. Washington NM Hardy VA. Walk 5 km (3 miles)

Walk 5 km in Booker T. Washington National Monument, seeing the reconstructed cabin, farm and tobacco barn. Then continue on heavily wooded paths that follow the headwaters of Gills Creek, and eventually return to the visitor's center. After finishing the walk, we can have lunch in the one of the many restaurants in the nearby West Lake area.

Meet us in parking lot of the National Monument. As you drive in, look for the picnic table on the left and park near there. Meet walk host Ron Jones at the picnic table to register.
