People who are interested in exploring Suffolk and Nassau County hiking venues between 4 and 6 miles, mostly. Terrain depends on what Long Island can offer but mostly flat. Occasional trips to other out of county hiking areas: Harriman, Catskills. Moderate pace. No hiker left behind.
