The book for October is recommended by Dawn - The Poison Daughter by Sheila Masterson. It's an enemies to lovers book with scary vampire hordes, horrible ruling families, frustrating (sometimes violent) arranged marriages, and a kick butt vigilante main female character who punishes abusive men and has a magical poison kiss! Trigger warning - there is a character close to our main character who is in an abusive marriage. . . . plus ya know all the murder :)
