2024 NFL Playoff Party

Apology for late notice: this event is this FRIDAY.

This event is normally a Christmas Holiday event. However, the battalion was deployed for over 6 months and only recently returned to base. Soooo, this is now an NFL Playoff Party.

There will be at least 4 NFL Superbowl veterans at this event to pose for pictures and sign autographs for the Military and all other attendees.

Event is 5:30pm - 8:00pm / Photographers should be onsite by 5pm and then depart when all shots covered.

Background: Members of our So-Cal-Photo-Walkers group have been the event photographers supporting the Mariners Church "Military Ministry" in Irvine for the adopted "Dark Horse" 3/5 Battalion comprised of over 1,000 Marines, Sailors and their families garrisoned at Camp Pendleton.

Note: I have been asked the theme of our military events. Even though this is an official Mariner's Church event, it is NOT a religious outing. This is a way for us to show our appreciation to those that are called on to protect us by putting their lives in jeopardy.

This event is an NFL Playoff Party and will be held at the New Mariners Church in Oceanside.

Looking for 4-6 photographers for candid shots of Families, Marines and events.

Expected turnout: 900 Marines and Sailors, 500 family members (200 children under 18) & 150 volunteers!

Ernie Slone will be the lead at this event.

As always, the images we capture will be posted online so the troops and family's will be able to download and enjoy.
