Fishing

About the event:
Come kick back, cast a line, and connect with the community! Whether you’re a seasoned angler or trying fishing for the very first time, this event is all about good vibes, shared stories, and healing waters. We’ll be lakeside with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing morning in nature. If you have extra fishing poles or tackle, please bring them! We’d love for everyone to have a chance to fish, and sharing gear makes that possible. If you know someone with spare gear, they’re absolutely welcome too—this event is all about community and support. No fishing license required. Just bring your pole and come ready to chill.

What to bring?
• Your fishing pole + tackle (if you have it) • Extra gear to share (optional but appreciated!) • A foldable chair or something comfy to sit on • Hat or shade (the morning sun can get toasty!) • Water, snacks, or anything else to keep you cozy and cool.

Special Instructions:
There is a $6 parking fee per vehicle. Carpooling with other Phoenix members is highly encouraged! Veterans with a valid ID or anyone with a handicap placard can park for free. This is a BYOP (Bring Your Own Pole) event
