About the event:
You do not have to be a runner to join this running club. Every other weekend, we’re meeting up for a relaxed-but-accountable 5K training session. Beginners can follow the 2-minute run / 1-minute walk rhythm the whole way. It’s simple, sustainable, and perfect for anyone just getting back into fitness or trying it for the first time.
What to bring?
Water, Gatorade, electrolyte of your choice (hydration is your new best friend) • Running shoes • Headphones if music keeps you in your groove
Special Instructions:
Just show up meet me at the picnic tables for check in. We will run 3 laps around the pound. 1 lap is 1.1 miles. A 5k is 3.2 miles
