Restorative Yoga

About the event:
In restorative yoga, deep relaxation, supported postures, gentle breathing, and meditation work together to ease stress. The focus is on opening and relaxation, not strength or flexibility. This class will consist of only a handful of postures that are held for between 5-10 minutes, with the support of props like blocks, bolsters, and blankets to ease your body and nervous system into a deeper state of relaxation.
What to bring?
Please wear comfortable, warm clothes (i.e. sweat pants, sweatshirts, warm socks) and bring a water bottle with you. Yoga mats and all props will be provided, but feel free to bring your own, if you wish.
Special Instructions:
Please arrive on time. The door will be locked while class is in session to avoid disruptions.
