About the event:
Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative guided meditation practiced lying down. It is also known as "yogic sleep." Unlike active flows, it leads you through layers of the self (physical, energetic, and mental) to reach a state of conscious relaxation between wakefulness and sleep. It is designed to quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system, release deep-seated tension, and leave you feeling profoundly rested.

What to bring?
Come as you are. The Phoenix Community Center has everything you need. You may bring your own pillow and blanket if you'd prefer.

Special Instructions:
The doors will be locked 10 minutes after 6 PM to ensure participants won't be disrupted during meditation.

Instructor:
Betty Diaz
